Joachim is principal flautist and chairperson of the artistic committee at the Royal Danish Orchestra. He has played at Equinox Festival since 2021, and been producer since 2023.

Joachim plays principal flute with the Royal Danish Orchestra, having previously served as principal flute in the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, and Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra.
Joachim completed his Master degree in 2018 from the Royal Danish Academy of Music with special studies in early music, and in 2018 he graduated from the Artist Diploma program at the Colburn School in Los Angeles.
Joachim is a Yamaha Performing Artist.
