Dorothea Wolff

Dodo is solo cellist at both the Odense Symphony Orchestra and Danmarks Underholdningsorkester. She has played at Equinox since 2019.

Dorothea Wolff was born to a musical family in Germany and grew up in the USA. She studied at New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, and then continued her studies under William Pleeth in London.
She was solo cellist of Esbjerg Ensemble for 10 years, and since 2003 has played as a solo cellist in Odense Symphony Orchestra. She is now also the solo cellist of the Danish Chamber Orchestra alongside her job in Odense.
She has also played with Det Kongelige Kapel, Chamber Orchestra of Europe, Musica Antiqua Köln, and often performs as a chamber musician both in Denmark and in the USA.
