Meet the team

  • Elenora Morris

    PRODUCER
    Agricultural Consultant

Ellie grew up in Pittsburgh and came to Copenhagen in the shape of a ballerina in 2016, but she had other adventures to go on, so she left the Royal Danish Ballet 2023 to spend a year working on organic farms. She currently lives in Brooklyn where she teaches, choreographs, composes, works in a professional kitchen and writes on Substack. She runs the dance department at Equinox, including curating and commissioning new dance rep.

  • Joachim Becerra Thomsen

    PRODUCER
    Pied Piper

Joachim is the musical mastermind behind Equinox. With a passion for diversity and lush string sounds, he curates concert after concert of beautiful and important repertoire. Apart from that, he plays in The Royal Danish Orchestra, and if your weekend is ever feeling gloomy, just swing by and listen to his beautiful flute playing, and everything will feel good again.

  • Minna Svedberg

    PRODUCER
    Director of Comedy

Minna lives in Amsterdam where she plays in the Adam Quartet. She joined what we call the Equinoxer Philharmoniker in 2022, and fell in love with the concept instantly. Meeting and working with dancers is always the highlight of her Equinox Experience, and she would wish for everyone to experience the beauty of interdisciplinary collaboration. She’s also very passionate about diversity and representation, so this festival stands close to her heart

  • Samuel Rees

    PRODUCER
    Head of Cake

If you lived in Copenhagen between 2014-2019, you might have seen Sam on stage with the Royal Danish Ballet, but after seeing a particularly sexy house one day, Sam decided his dancing days were over. He is now an architect and builds each year’s Equinox Festival like a sturdy apartment building. Equinox is his passion project, and he says that by programming forgotten composers it feels like we are helping to re-write history, in our own little way.
